What is Dog Pond Press? We are an online pay-per-service source for authors
looking to get their works published and exposed to worldwide readers in an
e-commerce based bookstore. We do not supply editing services, so your manuscript
is printed as it is sent to us. Please make sure that it is in the condition you wish to see
it printed.

What formats do you accept? We accept Microsoft Word documents, Page Maker
files and RTF formatted files.

How do you price your books? Our book prices are based on final page count unless
prior arrangements are made with the author.

How do you calculate royalties? Your book royalties are 35 percent of the list price
when sold in our book store. Royalties will vary from 10 to 25 percent when sold in
other venues.

The following table illustrates our pricing structure for various
page counts in Trade Paperback size and the royalties you will be
paid based on sales from the Dog Pond Book Store.

How and when do I get paid? Royalties are paid quarterly when they exceed $25.00.
If your royalties do not exceed $25.00 they will be carried over into the following
quarter. Your check is mailed to the author's address on file. It is up to you to keep
your address current with us.

What is an ISBN? How much does an ISBN cost? International Standard Book
Numbers are used worldwide by publishers and booksellers to track and order books.
Dog Pond Press provides you with an ISBN at no extra cost to you. An ISBN is not a
copyright. Please notify your copyright office for more details on obtaining a
copyright.

May I submit a typed copy rather than a file? Absolutely. We will scan your
manuscript if you are in a hurry, or we will manually type it into book format. Please
see our Services page for current pricing structures for those services.

I have problems downloading the author's agreement. Can I get a hard copy?
Simply contact us and we'll send you the author's agreement and order form right
away.
